Tracy Ellyn Fine Arts

Tracy's Double Photography is created with two layers of her naturally created photography, and has an interesting effect, especially since she is process-oriented, not progress-oriented. The two layers, for example, may be a rock garden and a plant. She never knows what the results will be until they happen. The pieces look like mosaic but they are not, nor are they ever photoshop. They are hand-made old-school photography, inviting the viewer to look even closer at nature and all its possible special effects.

 

The Surrealists used to play with double effects of photography to challenge perceptions, although Tracy's pieces have a different look from that era.
